Which domain registrar to use?

When I took out my first domain early this year, I learned the hard way that GoDaddy is the absolute worst, and I still struggle with most email I send going to spam folders (and it's just typical business stuff). The IP address associated with my domain has a poor reputation.

I have 2 more domains that I need to take out and I'm not going to use GoDaddy, but I'm trying to figure out what my best option is. Someone recently suggested Namecheap, so I'm looking at that, but thought it would be worth posing the question to an audience.
