with Christmas coming up I've found myself getting really self conscious about asking for dolls as gifts. I'm 24 and feel like I should be asking for more practical, "adult" gifts. I've always liked dolls though, and I've collected them to some extent for pretty much my whole life, but I feel kind of discouraged about it all at the moment. I worry that others are going to judge me for being "too childish" or something. I feel like I need to grow up even though doll collecting makes me happy. Does anybody else struggle with this? How do you deal with it and ignore those kinds of icky feelings?
