Is everyone's store struggling to get people in?

Post Body

The signs plastered around my store stating that "We're Hiring" for all positions-part time or full-time, including management only makes me concerned for the company.

As a person who has been in the game for nearly two years now and is starting to feel the effects of burn-out, it bums me how the good associates I've known are not scheduled on the sheet, let alone decent managers contemplating on finding new jobs or getting sick and tired of the workload. Then again, taking away the bonuses, hazard pay, and other essential necessities for the employee is great, yes? That's coming from a company that makes millions of dollars in bonuses, salaries nationwide. Plus, it doesn't help the fact that our store passed sales when the pandemic hit.

The effects of getting paid a dollar over minimum wage with an increase of workload, the complaints from customers that we need more workers and such, it is getting to be a bit much for people who are trying to make by and going above and beyond with customer service.

Then again, my only bonus is getting a cookie every year for Christmas.
