Community Giving should be coming to you all soon as I did mine yesterday and decided to donate zero dollars. Now you're asking "why so heartless? Why don't you want to help your coworkers?" The answer very simply is in the video it says 16 million dollars has been donated by employees since the program began. You know how much profit DG makes in a DAY? Let alone how many BILLIONS they've been taking in on our hard earned labor as they cut store employees hours, they work us warehouse schmucks to the bone with dangerous working conditions and forced overtime, and not a single person who isn't on salary gets paid enough for the bullshit we have to deal with from these corporate fucks and customers and we can't pay bills most of us. So why can't sugar daddy DG just use their own billions in profit out of the coldness of their capitalist hearts and set aside that money for the employee assistance fund and community donations themselves? How can you expect someone who is brining in 600$ a week(one of the highest non salary positions at the warehouse) and still has to eat ramen noodles and granola bars at lunch break to donate even more of their paycheck? Like ffs I ought to be a recipient with all the necessary repairs needed on my house and all the gas money I have to waste driving 60 miles round trip a day to go slave myself away just to barely make ends meet.

Tldr: love my fellow employees but I'm broke and it's DG's fault for not paying me enough to donate to needy people because I'm needy despite them knowing how much they pay me.
