Just got off my shift with my key holder who is a middle aged woman with five kids and I’m a 20 year old who’s been here for two years. I’ve always been quiet and to myself if that matters. And tonight, she openly told me she steals from the store for her kids and like, I have no judgement towards that. But after locking the store, she grabbed a bunch of stuff and told me “I’ll show you how I was taught from another dollar general.”
So, she went behind the register and angeled her body so the camera didn’t capture the screen and proceeded to pretend to scan (she scanned like two items). I was on the other side with the scar swiped and she handed me HER phone to use Apple Pay and which I did.
I just got home and told my mom and she got mad, she even aggressively pushed a chair and yelled that I’m going to get caught and have a criminal record and like
Theft is wrong and what’s she is doing will GET YOU FIRED
