I have a 9 month old staffy x who likes to go for drags rather than walks. He does have a harness (before you comment on how it encourages pulling, itβs safer than a collar for him and he pulls less on the harness). He was walking well on the harness cause I would stop when he pulled or turned around. And after two walks he had figured out if he pulls he sits.
The problem is, my partner took my pup for runs off lead beside the bike and now he just pulls worse. (I tried talking to my partner about not letting him lead the runs but it fell on deaf ears. So now Iβve got a puller with even more muscle π). I am looking at getting a dog trainer in but was wondering what else could I do to help with his pulling. Iβm gonna try and restart the training with walks as well.
