Dog regressing in potty training.

I have a 7 month old terrier mix that I started potty training about 2.5 months ago. At first he was having tons of accidents but about a month ago he started making progress where he would let me know if he had to go so I could take him outside. He wasn’t holding it very long during the day (not crated because I can keep a super close eye on him) and would go pee every 2-2.5 hours and poop 5-6 hours. But his accidents were reduced to maybe one a day. He could also hold it in his crate for about 4-4.5 hours.

Something happened within the last couple weeks that he started having tummy issues. He had to get an enema last Thursday and wasn’t able to hold it until Sunday so I had to rely on puppy pads. He asked me to go outside a couple times during this period and I took him and it was fine.

Now, he won’t go potty outside. I’ve been taking him out like before and he’ll pee or poop immediately after coming back inside. He peed in his crate yesterday an hour and a half after being in it and went outside and had accidents inside with the dog sitter. He did not go outside the rest of the day.

What’s the best course of action right now? I wasn’t crating at night because he was good at using a designated potty spot and holding it to go outside in the morning but he’s having accidents overnight too.

He’s also started to eat his poop.

Pls help! This has been my biggest issue and he had been making so much progress so this is kicking my ass.

I’ll also cross post this to puppy101.
