I have a 6 year old lab that was a rescue. We adopted appx 4 yrs ago and went ahead and finally had her spayed about 2years ago. She went from a social dog, that had no problem meeting another dog on a walk, or playing at an off leash dog park, to a shit show if we even see a dog on a walk. Any dog she see she is ready to pounce, teeth showing lease pulling, aggressive barking to the point I literally have to drag her away. She has also developed almost an obsessive compulsive behavior over playing ball. She can be in a dead sleep and if you make a move in the house she is rushing to the door to get outside. If you are outside you have to hide any sign of a ball or she will be on edge barking to get it thrown. Any suggestions, should I take her to the vet and look at medication options?
