Training dog to let me wipe their paws

I want to train my dog to let me wipe his paws after we come in from outside. I’m working on teaching him to sit before going out of the door so he waits for me but when we come back in, it’s hard for him to stay in sit when he sees me with the wipe pack.

When He is ready to come back in from outside, he stands by the front door and lets me pick him up but when I go to wipe, he wiggles around and bites the wipe and only lets me do one paw (the one training for high five.)

Is there a way to train him to let me? Right now he’s easy to carry but I would like to be able to set him down and do it too.
