So I signed my dog up for new training and we were all excited. He was behaving SO poorly. He had NO obedience, no recall no nothing. Was the least trained dog ever. I signed him up with Sit Means Sit. Now before I get hate on their method of using an e-collar let me say that they informed me numerous times the collar is completely safe. And they have a lot of information about it on their website stating how safe the collar is. So anyway before we went to training my dog was super happy and excited all the time, wagged his tail all day everyday and licked us so much we were almost soaked. He also followed me everywhere. Now... I have a new dog, but not in a good way. He is depressed, barely moves, gets scared when I come near him, hasn’t stopped shaking and or breathing very heavily since training, he doesn’t want to go outside or play fetch, he doesn’t get excited when we come home anymore. This weighs so heavily on me. I miss my happy baby. I don’t want hate for using the collar, I needed a good training program and I thought this was it, I just want advice. I am calling them tomorrow but if anyone has any advice please help me.
