So a bit of context. My fiancé has had a dog for 8 years now as an emotional support dog and he’s fairly small. A pug jack russel mix and she babied him as he grew up. 2 years año she got a puppy that was a bit bigger she’s a lab hound mix and she has a bit of a jittery and scared of everything kind of dog. She gets along with him pretty well they would play a lot and tug on toys.

Now onto the issue. Me and my fiancé have had a couple of incidences where she would lash out at the smaller dog and bite him but she wouldn’t continue to attack. It would happen erratically one moment she would be fine then she would snap out. She knows it’s wrong when she does it because she goes into her crate and stays away from him as if she’s sorry for what she did. She gets scared from loud noises like the drier or the washing machine which is when I’ve noticed she lashes out the most is when he’s behind of around her and she gets startled. Any advice on getting her to stop lashing out. My fiancé wants to move her to a new home if we can’t fix her issues and I’m against moving her.

She’s crate trained and me and my fiancé are working on training her with verbal commands.
