Dog freaks out when I get in hammock

Post Body

I've got a 1.5 year old pit/rhodesian ridgeback mix. He's super sweet 99% of the time and loves to snuggle and loves pets from literally anyone including children and never has had any problem with people.

A couple days ago I set up a hammock in the backyard and when I got in it, he flipped out and started being really aggressive to me and ended up biting my foot, leaving a mark but not breaking skin. I went in the hammock a couple more times when he was around and he flipped out and got aggressive in the same way.

This seems very weird to me, that being in a hammock is triggering him to become aggressive. Anyone know any insights on why this might be happening? Google turned up nada in my search. Do I need to give up the hammock when the dog is around?
