Can I leave my 16 week old puppy with a friend for a few days?

My Grandma passed away yesterday, and I want to go to the funeral. The problem is that my pup already is too big to fly in cabin (22lbs and won’t fit comfortably under a seat), and driving isn’t an option cus the funeral is in another country.

My pup is already on the fearful side and very wary of new places. She’s been having trouble adjusting to the big city I live in cus of the noise and I’m concerned that leaving her with a friend for a few days will worsen her anxiety.

I know that my friend would take good care of her, but I still don’t know if she’ll handle the separation well. What are your thoughts?
