Bad sleep startle at night

Post Body

My dog recently started to sleep startle.. she's about 5 and I've had her for about 22 months (may 2021). Recently she began to sleep startle. It wasn't an issue before, but the last few months it has been. However, this seems to be very extreme. She won't sleep in the bed with me anymore because if I so much as bump her in the night she will wake up panicking. She will even do it when she's not fully asleep if we are lying on the couch watching TV or something and I move in a way she wasn't expecting. She will growl and turn afternoon and then stop when she sees that it's me. However, if we nap during the day, this never happens. It only seems to happen at night. When it becomes light in the morning she jumps into bed with me. The funniest thing is that she seems to live the nighttime and wants to go play outside when it's dark when she won't do it when it's light.

She was a street dog before she was rescued and I adopted her. She's well trained and listens to my commands, except for when I try to get her on the bed at night

It's there anything I can do about this? It's a newer behavior and I can't identify any change that may have triggered it
