A dog in my area is missing. It got “spooked by fireworks” and did a runner 2 weeks ago. There’s a Facebook group for sightings and updates. 5k people are in it. The family commenting are actually rude enough to specify that if anyone sees the shit machine they have to phone them “AT ONCE” and don’t say it’s name as it is in “survival mode” and needs to “settle”

The comments are insane. There are people putting posters up everywhere, people taking days off work to search for it, phoning the local police and ambulance service to keep a fucking eye out at night for it. ITS A DOG FOR GODS SAKE. Oh and several disgusting comments about people who want to celebrate Bonfire Night cos the stupid rats get scared. Why do these fucking dogs have to dictate everything. They’ve emailed the police force to get a drone out at night to see if they can “track its movements” A kid went missing suspected abduction not too long ago and there wasn’t this level of concern!

I can’t wait to live in a world where this lunacy around smelly slobbering mutts is non existent.
