A while back when I just met this friend, we agreed that neither of us liked dogs that much, but he was still in contempt at how I described dogs--he thought that it was so cruel of me to just say the bad parts about dogs and depict them like they're all just bad and nothing else(which I didn't). But this didn't become a really big argument between us.
Fast forward to Christmas when his family got a puppy for his little sister, and now he's ranting to me about how crazy the puppy is driving him, whereas I'm mostly chill when I stay at a friend's house and they have a dog, I just don't bother them and act nice but indifferent so they don't bother me. It's funny to see how a usually very nice and gentle person like him is now fuming every time the dog pees everywhere on the carpet(he's not the one that has to clean it up) and even threw away his shoe because the puppy kept trying to bite it off of his feet.
Kinda wanted to say "that is very cruel of you" as he did but considering how frustrated he is, I'm not going there. :)
