Animal butters desperately cling to the idea that dogs are inherently and innately hood. And to reconcile themselves with the reality that dogs attack and harm people. They must insist that behind every misbehaving dog is a human whose at fault. And I think we can all admit that dogs can be “trained” (programmed is probably a better word in every case) but the dog nutters will not budge. Which seems ironic to me given how many dog butters are sincerely anti-gun. I’m going to think a bit more in this dog butter: gun control connection. For now I’m super curious how you all deal with this standard issue dog butter premise that only bad owners exist and not bad dogs.
