My neighbors dog is always on a chain night & day, outside. He has a dog house but either his chain won’t allow him to go inside it or it’s wet on the inside and that’s why he won’t go in it. But the poor thing sleeps balled up every night outside. I warmed a blanket in the dryer one night when it was very cold and put it over him and he loved it. Thought of ordering a self heated waterproof mat too. I left a note for the neighbors with my number and address and told a little lie too so I hopefully didn’t piss them off or offend them and said their dog looked like my childhood dog that passed and if it was okay could I come in their yard to pet him, etc. well they never did get back to me and I’m limited to when I can go check on him. I’m sure they’ve noticed the random toys and the blanket that popped up next to him but so far they’ve not said anything. I also tried knocking on their door once but nobody came out. I just wanna know what can I do to make this poor dog happy, warmer and entertained??
