They're probably getting down votes because antlers are well known to cause dental issues. We learned the hard way too, cracked my dogs tooth.

Respectfully, I disagree on your comparison. We should live life, absolutely. But there are plenty of enrichment activities that don't carry the risk of cracking a tooth. Just because you haven't had an issue with antlers doesn't make them less risky.

And yes stuff happens, it's part of having a dog. When she had to have the cracked tooth pulled, our vet said they see lots of cracked teeth from antlers and to not use them in the future.

Just following my vet's advice. That's all.
