Hello guys, so i never really post on reddit but long story short(er)- I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and being an adult I’ve found myself owning two male dogs(neutered).
I will be getting a pure bred pup to raise from a baby so I’m more so curious if i should get a female or stick to the male theme since i haven’t had an issue? Open to all opinions
Info about the boys- Zeus is an Akita/Husky mix, 5y/o, adopted this past October Romeo is a pure bred Rottweiler, estimated to be 1.5, adopted about 3 weeks ago Zeus at this point is off leash trained and listens well, Romeo is still new so of course no risks being taken! However he has the most potential of all the dogs Ive had to be the most on point! Zeus wasnt cat friendly(very reactive) and Romeo wasnt dog friendly but with a firm hand, boundaries and some love we overcame those hurdles Romeo doesnt care for cats so i imagine he was raised with them from previous owners. F the previous owners though cause this boy Romeo gets petrified when i give him a command sometimes and would pee like he use to get abused
