Post Body

My little guy is 10, he is scheduled for a mast cell tumor removal Tuesday. The tumor is small and I’m not worried about them removing it… I’m scared about anesthesia.

2 years ago I almost lost him to a burst gallbladder that was emergency removed.

I didn’t have the opportunity to be worried about anesthesia, it was 100% he would die, or surgery and a 50/50 chance he makes it..

Well he made it!!!! But now I’m terrified a small routine surgery is going to get him. I know it needs to come out, but I’m so scared.

Looking for experiences putting an older dog under anesthesia or just positive words of encouragement. I’m 7 months pregnant and an emotional wreck
