I’m currently dog sitting a big ole sweet German Shepherd, not sure his age. He is OBSESSED with being outside. Yesterday he spent the better part of 8 hours (on/off) outside. When I bring him in he just sits by the door pacing to go back out and when I ignore him he’ll bark at me to be let out.

It’s raining pretty heavily here today and I’ve already wiped off the mud/wetness I could. I’ve never given a dog this size/type of fur a bath… bad idea? I’ve wiped him down the best I can, but I’m sure there’s still mud caked under his belly etc.

I’m here for another few days, is giving him a bath in the tub here a bad idea? I’ve only ever washed my own dog who was probably 70-80# and I’d say this baby is probably pushing 100#. I feel like breeds like GS, Huskies, etc should see a groomer vs bath at home, but idk as I’ve never owned one. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful! Thank you
