Recently, networking (or live animal trafficking) has become a massive problem on Reddit. Traffickers will spam subreddits with unvetted euth list dogs for sale (or for free) and then tug on poor souls' heartstrings for donations to mysterious Venmo accounts
They spam comments like "boost" from alt accounts in order to manipulate the algorithm so their posts get seen more. They beg for pledges for "sweet babies" who need out NOW. They will crosspost pit bulls into Labrador subreddits to gain visibility. They have no shame. They have no ethics or morals. They reach new lows with each passing day wherein quantity of dogs saved matters more than what dogs are being saved and where they end up
It should be no surprise that live animal traffickers are using the anonymity of Reddit to their advantage
Here's a quick example of a "rescue" that I found via one of the animal trafficking subs. It's called Not Your Average Rescue, Inc and boy, does it scream "scam"
They couldn't have picked a further locale to pull from. Weird, I wonder why that is
\"DM for other payment options\"--yeah, where can I send my $100 pledge in Monopoly money to?
Please help me in reporting these types of accounts, posts, and comments to Reddit as SPAM
