DAE look at the ring finger of other people and use it to gauge whether they have a chance at getting married?

Not that I'm keen to get married or anything, nor am I lacking self confidence, but sometimes I catch myself looking at dudes about 5-10 years older than me (I'm 25) and based on their public manner/appearance think to myself, "Yep, they're married. I got a chance at that!"
