I understand that this is the playoffs and anything can happen and we’re supposed to throw out the regular season cause apparently it means nothing. The Padres are a good team. Good hitters and good pitching. The Dodgers are simply better. I’m aware that sometimes that doesn’t matter but in this series, I believe it does. This is a divisional opponent,a team they know very well. There will be no surprises. Everyone is saying the Padres are hot. Now are they hot? Or were the Mets just bad? Yes NY won 100 games but were collapsing the last two months of the season. Fatigue is going to be a factor in this series. It happened to the dodgers last year. They were worn out by the time they met the Braves. That trip from New York to California is no joke. The Dodgers will wear down their pitchers, it’s what they do. The Padres talk a lot and I’m sure the Dodgers hear and see it. I honestly think the Dodgers should sweep them but if not, they rid themselves of the Padres in 4.
