Pitching Probables: Tyler Anderson (2-4, 6.43 ERA) at Lisalverto Bonilla (0-1, 4.85 ERA)
The first-place Rockies continue their jaunt through the eastern United States. This game is particularly notable because it's the one Facebook is streaming. Hope that this one is a barnburner above all else.

Diamondbacks (24-18) at Padres (15-28) 7:10 PDT
Pitching Probables: Taijuan Walker (3-3, 3.91 ERA) at Jered Weaver (0-4, 6.05 ERA)
The Diamondbacks go to San Diego to face literally the only team worse than the Marlins, the Padres.

But what do these mean for the Dodgers?
St. Louis is nipping at the Dodgers' heels and the NL Central could become even more tied up in knots by day's end. If the Dodgers win and the Diamondbacks lose, St. Louis is their problem for the time being.
Hope to God the Reds and Padres do something. Mathematically you should be hoping the Giants win, but I'm willing to make an exception.
If everything breaks the Dodgers way mathematically, here's what the standings will look like:
NL WEST
Team | W | L | % | GB |
---|---|---|---|---|
Rockies | 26 | 17 | .605 | -- |
Dodgers | 25 | 18 | .581 | 1.0 |
Dbacks | 24 | 19 | .558 | 2.0 |
Giants | 18 | 25 | .419 | 8 |
Padres | 16 | 28 | .367 | 10.5 |
NL WILD CARD
Team | W | L | % | GB |
---|---|---|---|---|
Dodgers | 25 | 18 | .581 | -- |
Dbacks | 24 | 19 | .558 | -- |
Cardinals | 21 | 18 | .538 | 1.0 |
Cubs | 20 | 21 | .488 | 3.0 |
Reds | 20 | 21 | .488 | 3.0 |
These standings are best case scenarios as of 7:02 p.m. PDT.
