Post Body

My central timer module (ctm) went bad and my now all my light (cabin, dashboard, and headlights) all flickering after running the car for a short while. I bought some replacement CTM and I installed one. It fixed my light issues but I quickly realized that the dashboard said security on it which I had never seen before. I drove it around for about an hour with no issues. After Turing off the car and locking the door I tried to get back in, at which point my car alarm went off and the only way to make it stop was to disconnect the battery. I tried this with another CTM and i had the same exact issue. I read online that I could get the part reprogrammed at a dealership but the dealership couldn’t fix it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?
