3,300 miles ago my 2011 Durango with $90k miles ate its transmission. Error codes showed gear ratio problems in first and second metal shavings in the fluid. One new transmission, cooler all the components and fluids and $6,000 later I was back on the road.
Friday, it did it again. The major parts and labor are covered by warranty but itโs going to cost me another $600 in odds and ends.
My mechanic says heโs used hundreds of these transmissions (Jasper) and has never had one fail. Never made a warranty claim.
Has anyone seen this before? Is it possible I have another problem causing it? The new equipment had 3,300 miles installed of east no towing city driving
