Is it easy to replace the heater fan motor?
Post Body

I live in Alaska and I’m pretty sure my fan motor died this morning. I’m not in a good financial position to pay someone to swap out the motor. That also being said, if it is difficult I’ll just go without heat for the remainder of winter.

Also if someone knows the price of replacing the motor and where to get a new fan motor that would be nice too.

Edit: The symptoms included one drive with a rattling noise coming from the glove box area, but the fans were still working and the truck was warm. Upon the next turn over of the engine the fans were not working and the noise stopped.
