door ajar sensor acting wacky

just started happening today, tried everything from turning the car off and using wd40 on the latch.
this is a 2021 scat pack narrow body charger with 13k miles, thankfully I figured out how to turn off interior lights or else my battery would be dead. car will ping every time accelerate from a stop. I was thinking a bad battery, or if I disconnect the battery it would fix it. anybody got any ideas???????
