Help optimise a noob of a Barbarian

This is my first ever character, wanted to make a tank with alright damage output. I didn't do point buy, currently heading into level 4, my stats are strength 16, Dex 13, Con 18, Int 8, Wis 12, Cha 10. I was thinking of taking skill expert at level 4 to boost my dex to 14, getting my AC up to 17. Just wondering when to take my strength or constitution up, when to take sentinel or GWM, or if there is anything I am missing, such as a fighter multiclass dip or something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to mention I'm a bear totam barbarian
