Are lizardfolk descended from lizards, dragons, or dinosaurs?

Lizards are cold blooded but have 5 forward toes (digits) as shown in most pictures. This limits their ability in colder climes. Unless they independently evolved warm-bloodedness. Dinos are warm-blooded, but have 3 toes. And Dragons are not limited to evolution. They usually have 6 appendages, which dragonborne do not.
