be me: First time dm in my First ever campaign get a bunch of friends together to start a homebrew, long-time campaign everything goes well the first few sessions. Typical starting town, tavern brawl and the such start to notice that one of my players is derailing the campaign way too much (murderhobo style) hes a fighter dwarf that believes in dwarfish communist-buddhism called Arnold Van Andersson my players are in the mayors house bringing him the corpse of his diseased daughter the mayor is too distraught to give my players their reward Arnold is getting visibly frustrated please dont.jpg he is about to attack the mayor iiiiiiii shouldve known.jpg idea.jpg before thrusting Down his mace onto the mayors head Arnold gets a Vision he starts hearing angelic cries and heavenly horns "look up my comrade blyat" what is our dm doing.mp4 Arnold looks up and Sees the holy Image of his deity: buddhin (a cross between stalin and buddha) buddhin is talking some sense into his "disciple" holyFuckItWorks.jpg from now on using buddhin whenever Arnold is getting some murdery thoughts 1,5 years and a time-skip later and buddhin is now an Integral deity in the plot and Arnold is a changed man. A devout disciple of his god and fighting with a whole army of Followers against my BBEG

As its my First time dm-ing i was really proud of how i handled the whole derailing. My campaign is nearly on its 2 year anniversary and going as strong as ever thanks to things like buddhin.

I love dnd
