Party: A kobold monk, half-elf rogue, human fighter, tiefling bard.

Enter town of Farwater to investigate haunting

Discusses haunting with the owner of a book repository, Yannock.

Party splits in two. bard and fighter go to tavern

Bard rolls high and sleeps with half orc, Fighter just eats bread and drinks ale

Meanwhile, rogue and monk go down into book storage and enter a small workshop filled with rat poop

Rogue decided to jump on bendy floorboard, as the two taverners come back. Jumps on it again

Rouge eventually falls through floor onto a moist dirt slope a few feet below

Rogue hears some voices

Fighter uses rope to follow rest of the party into a chamber with water channels

Group of rats emerge. Five

Fighter roll totals to over 20 on intimidation

Rats run away except one

One rat tells them of a moonstone, then runs

Group climbs back up to main building and goes to Yannock upstairs

Ask about moonstone, meanwhile fighter tries to punch the bard in the jaw and monk steals books

Bard shouts about a colony of talking rats

Employer quite exhausted, walks down and pokes bard. I mis describe his state and bard thinks he's drunk.

Finally agrees to show them moonstone

Walks down to the workshop chamber and draws his dagger

Picks bricks out of the wall

Fight draws his sword, on their employer..

Yannock exposes a wooden door which he unlocks.

Walks in. The floor immediately collapses. He and the party fall through the floor along with the moonstone. (The reason this happens is because the rats are using the nearby saw mills power to drive water under the floor, weakening it and allowing them to get the moonstone.)

Monk rolls high and catches moonstone. Grabs onto wood outcrop

Fighter tries and fails to grab employer

Rogue manges to drag him up

Bard tries to push fighter and rouge into hole

Fighter rolls lows and falls painfully

Fighter hits bard with stick while they are in a muddle of splinters and water

Bard casts vicious mockery on fighter

Then casts cure wounds on fighter

Monk and rogue look from the top of the hole. Think that the others are dead.

Bard and fighter travel down tunnels see an exit

Enter saw mill that is very old with rotten timbers, fighter goes back to town from the back while bard faces some rats

Rolls ok on persuasion, rats follow for the moonstone that the monk has, they speak common.

Rat leader is Campion but player think I mean Champion so it gets funnier.

Rogue talks about moonstone to Yannock

Meanwhile, fighter haggles for a healing potion off a peddler

Bard and rats walk back to short chasm, fighter comes back to monk and rouge at top of chasm

Party argue about specifics of job and whatever or not they should give the rats the moonstone which makes them intelligent beyond a waxing moon

Bard throws rat leader up hole, falls back down cause of nat 1 Dex check

Fighter rolls to kicks bard back down hole. Rolls are equal

Bard fails to steal moonstone from monk

Monk suggests to call the guards

The party isn't even getting paid that much for this, employer is poor despite book hoard.

Yannock says when asked the job is to stop the "haunting"

Party argue if they should kill the rats, give them the moonstone or smoke them out(Mostly Bard and Monk)

Party then say that the rats might rise up with the help of the moonstone and attack Farwater.

Fighter says he should call the guards, another PC says that they would've never came in the first place and probably not nothing.

Party splits, taking moonstone, Yannocks family heirloom, with them until further notice, leaving the rats in the tunnel. There by solving nothing.
