Playing 3.5/Pathfinder with the same group for 10 years.

Best friends. When real life issues happened, moved in with DM and wife.

Have house rule that 3 nat 20s in a row in combat = instakill.

Playing campaign where I am ratfolk Samurai with bad temper, and BBEG is a evil demigod who is monologueing about how it will enslave everything rain doom and etc.

Have to work in the morning and be annoyed that DM is taking forever on the "Evil Evil Evil" speech.

As I head to bed, I yell out to the group "I charge the demigod and attack midspeech. DM, roll for me."

As I'm laying in bed, I hear a commotion, and just as I am about to fall asleep, a knock on my door.

Roommate says "you better come out here real quick"

My Samurai hit the 3 20s in a row house rule with the GM rolling in front of everyone,

so the BBEG was taken down in one hit.

GM rolls with it, saying some greater evil was in charge

We're now facing an evil god.
