Hello,

I'm working on a Forgotten Realms character for a friend's upcoming campaign, and I'm trying to work out something in my character's history. Delena and her sister were born in the temple of the goddess Auril, a fickle and evil deity of winter, and are the only daughters in the family. Would it make more sense for this event to be an ill-omen or good omen?

Also, if this is an ill-omen, what would make more sense for their grandmother, the family matriarch to do?

A. Favor them and spoil them to please Auril and avoid trouble?

B. Distance herself from them and try to get rid of them as quickly as she's able?

I'm not as up on the setting as I would like, and was wondering if someone else might have a better understanding of Auril and how she's seen.
