This subreddit has done me a lot of good as I've been beginning to DM, and I figured I would try to give back a little by sharing my custom built pantheon of deities. Feel free to use it in your private home games!

I felt the need to design my own pantheon for a number of reasons. One, I just have this irrational desire to homebrew as much of my world and it's lore as I possibly can. Two, I felt that the alignment system of Good-Evil and Lawful-Chaotic tended to pigeonhole the deities in a way I didn't like, so I wanted something that could be free from it. And three, I had ideas for the lore and cosmology of my world that an existing pantheon didn't fit so if I was gonna redesign the entire lore of my deities anyways, I thought I might as well just go whole hog with it.
