Advice for DMing strangers?

Post Body

Hello, everyone. I have recently begun thinking of hosting a homebrew campaign for a coworker that was interested in playing D&D, after we got to talking about it during downtime.

I offered to DM for her, and given it would only be her I wanted to see about opening my game to some others I can connect with through a mutual Discord.

Though this would be the first time in my career playing and DMing D&D that i would be DMing for a group of strangers. I know there are a lot of questions and answers I should be asking during a session 0 to try and get a feel for the party and its players, as well as what they are looking for in a campaign.

Is there any advice or are there any specific questions I should ask during a session 0? I can only think of a couple off the top of my head but I want to be prepared. (And at least have some image that I know what I'm doing, lol)
