I'm really not a fan of how Wizards is homogenizing life span, height, and weight for player characters.
"Player characters, regardless of race, typically fall into the same ranges of height and weight that humans have in our world."
Six foot tall gnomes? 100 pound dragonborn? What the heck. I'd prefer this to be a variant rule, and have the "official" life spans, heights, and weights stated so we can use them (they're mostly not stated in a lot of the new Unearth Arcana and Witchlight adventure).
Does anyone else feel the same way?
