Looking for similar books to volo's guide to monsters

I have Mordenkainen's tome of foes and will be getting Fizban's treasury of dragons. Are there other books similar in writing style? Is Xanathar's guide to everything written like guide to monsters in more of a lore book and not just stat blocks?
