Recently during one of our sessions one of the players went to go do a sort of personal side quest, however during the side quests they happen to run into a pack of four velociraptors, each of which was CR 4(1100xp), plus a sort of alpha velociraptor that was CR 6, they managed to outrun that pack three times, and in the end was able to kill one themselves, and all but the alpha velociraptor through fall damage. They also saved an NPC each time. I was wondering how much XP dungemasters out there would give players for this, , as the rest of the players got some pretty meaty XP from other stuff.
