Guilds?

Anyone have any ideas how a guild would run in a campaign? Ie a fighters guild and there’s like an entry fee or a monthly fee ideas like what happens if you do enough for a guild do you gain a rank in your chapter and what do the additional ranks do. This is a lot of questions but in reality I am just wondering what everyone else has done if they have tried a guild set up?
