Voices in game

I love doing voices in game and changing my voice but after my party gets back from their quest after 2 sessions, I tend to forget the voice I used originaly for certain characters. Does anyone have any way of marking that that voice isnfor this character or should I try to apply specific voices to specific races (like higher pitched for gnomes, low and heavy for dwarves, etc.)?
