So since February I've been planning a campaign for me and my friends, and today out of all days I came up with this idea, we've recently been wanting to get into stat rolling, and that's what some of my friends planned to do with their new campaigns. Well mine features some foreign ideas (I decided to get rid of Variant Human and give every race a free feat t start) and today I came up with how I'm going to do stat rolling and shared it with my friends, they said that they're proud of me for coming up with it so here I am! Explaining it.
And it's quite simple.
You start with 6 in each stat.
Then roll 3d6 and drop the lowest roll.
Which means you still have 18 as the highest of your rolls, but you only can roll 8 as your lowest, which will give you quite more average rolls, but also a good safety net so you don't roll a 3 in a stat!
