So I've been playing dnd for 5 years at this point (not alot of time in the grand scheme of things) and was thrust into the role of dm a few months in. I love to dm to tell my stories to have my players and their characters grow and have fun. I run mostly games online either discord or skype that are my own homebrew world tweaking dnd lore where needed and creating my own running campaigns up to a year long. I've started recording sessions to put onto my youtube channel to interest people in dnd and hopefully with a ton of editing it goes well. My wife and a few of my players have brought up a topic of charging/paying to play dnd and have suggested I do so. I am of mixed feelings about it and if I were to do it would include dice or leather notebooks or something of the sort.
So the big question what do yall think of dms charging players to play?
