Hey everyone,
So I'm playing a divine sorc in a campaign right now, and I'm considering multiclassing a few levels celestial warlock if the story calls for it (which is a possibility).
My question is this: rules as written, do people think agonizing blast is too powerful for multi class builds?
4 x (1d10 5) damage in the late game is good solid, consistent damage. I think it obviously makes sense that it's available to warlocks given their general lack of spell slots, but to me, allowing sorcerers to have access to that kind of reliable dps isn't balanced.
I know these are late game considerations, but I'm trying to think of some nerfs for me to propose to my DM. My first thought to make agonizing blast scale with warlock level:
Once per turn, you can add your charisma modifier to the damage dealt by eldritch blast on a hit. This increases to twice per turn at level 5, three times at level 11 and four at level 17.
I'd love to hear some thoughts. Do you think it needs nerfs? If so, how would you go about it?
