Hi all! This might be a longshot but I'm tasked with finding some academic research of Dnd game design. My project is adapting Hellboy: Seed of Destruction into a short campaign for my class. I'm really ambitious and invested in the project itself. However, as you can imagine, there isn't a lot out there in terms of academic research. I'm mainly looking for level design, NPC design, and character design.
I so far have two sources approved by my professor: Of Dice and Men, David M. Ewalt, and The 5th edition Dungeon masters guide.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!!
