Character Idea: Buddhist Monk

Post Body

Idea i had while sleep-deprived in the shower: For anyone playing in an especially lethal campaign, you could play a “Buddhist” Monk who is extremely aware of the fact that he has been “reincarnated” (been rolled-up by a player who has played D&D before), and that he will be “reincarnated” (the player will roll-up another one), resulting in an alienating “go-with-the-flow” worldview. Especially if this is the player’s first time playing Monk, the Perfection of the Soul narrative becomes the meta-narrative of the actual player gaining mastery of 5eD&D Monk gameplay. Obviously you name this guy Sahve Skuum (pronounced “Save Scum”)
