Level one in a level 6+ campaign?
Post Body

So I'm newish to DnD, and am on my second level one in this party. My previous one made it all the way to the end of the first play session to roll a 1 and the due to being Lightfoot rolled a 3 to an ancient green dragons last breath as he fell to his death with our warrior on his back. Needless to say I was very very quickly a puddle of acid.

I'm trying to find a build / character that will just get me through the first play session. Half of the party is 10 , the other half is 5ish and I'm the unlucky pack mule at level 1 lol. Also, our level 18 life cleric went insane and is now a level 18 death cleric and the big bad of our campaign. I wanted to play the grave cleric, and due to my severe level disparity I was wondering if taking a 3 point dip into a bear totem Barb was worth it, or just roll clerics til one doesn't die lol. Thanks for the help guys!
