Low level magic items for Avernus?

I'm running a new group through Descent into Avernus starting at level 3 and they asked about magic items during our session zero. I'm not entirely against it but I don't want to get too crazy. I'm looking for suggestions for low level magic items that will be useful throughout the campaign.
